Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you provide services other than those listed on your Products & Services page?
Almost certainly yes.  There are few services that I do not offer (eg:  financial or IT training) but I have lots of contacts in these
and other areas.  If I cannot help you myself I may be able to recommend someone who has the experience and expertise you
need.

What if I need more than one trainer/facilitator?
If, after discussion, we both agree that more than one professional is required, I can call in one or more of my network contacts.
I can then work with them (and you) to design and provide a seamless product/service which answers your needs.

How many people in the biggest group you have ever worked with?
Biggest group so far:  60 on a teambuilding event.  Yes, I know.  Obviously, the bigger the group, the less chance for individual
attention.  At (say) a conference, this is not usually an issue.  At learning and development events, group size can be crucial
and needs careful planning to maximise individual learning.

What is ideal group size?
Ideal group size depends on the content and objectives for the session(s).  I can offer some guidelines when I know more about
you and your needs.  I can supply one to one tutorials, sessions for small and large groups in most subject areas.

How far do you travel?
I live in Hertfordshire, about 30 miles North-West of London.  I prefer to work in Southern England but will consider travel further
away by arrangement.

How much do you charge?
My fee depends on the length of my involvement with you/your organisation.  It can also depend on content/subject area.  I will
give you an early quote for my services once I know what you need.  This can usually be accomplished with an Email or
telephone call.

Are there any hidden extras?
Travel and subsistence are added to my fee above.  Subsistence usually means hotel costs for night(s) away from home if
necessary.

What about a venue for the services you provide?
Previous clients have used their own premises, hotels, training centres, conference centres, meeting rooms and even a church
hall.  My expectation is that you will find and provide a venue which suits you and your colleagues in terms of size, facilities
and location.

Any special equipment needed?
This depends on the nature of what I am doing for you.  Quite often we can manage with just a flip-chart or two.  Overhead
Projectors (OHPs) have been superseded by the latest technology but are still useful!  Sometimes we may need to use a PC
and Data Projector.  We will agree together what equipment is essential for your particular activity.  I ask you to provide this
yourself (although most venues have their own access to appropriate equipment for events like these).  I never allow technology
to get in the way of individual learning, development and growth!

What if I have other questions?
You are bound to have other questions!  Contact me anytime for an informal discussion without obligation. In doing so, you will
be helping me to make this list of questions and answers more complete for the future. So thank you, in advance!

Did you really spray “Big Top Business Training” on that wall?
Never again!  It took ages to scrub off afterwards.  Only joking….I have the utmost respect for our environment and always leave
things as I find them….or much, much better!

Big Top Tip:
Avoid “Death By PowerPoint”.  Create startling and memorable presentations using your own resources.
I teach presentation skills that do not rely on technology.
